Mrs. Nootenboom

Broadway Elementary 2023-24

The role of a School Counselor

School Counselors work with ALL students in the building! They use curriculum for full class lessons and small groups to support academic and social-emotional growth as well as age appropriate career exploration. They also see students one on one in times of crisis or transition.

Mrs. Nootenboom

My name is Natalie Nootenboom and I am the School Counselor at Broadway Elementary. I am new to Broadway this year, but this is my 7th year in CVSD and my 15th year as a School Counselor! I am thrilled to be a part of the Broadway staff and work in this community.

Please look over the pages here for helpful information regarding mental health resources, helpful books and websites for students and guardians, as well as upcoming classroom lessons and links! Holiday supports will have their own page here as we approach the beginning of November.

Do not hesitate to call or email if I can help in any way nnootenboom@cvsd.org
